Theta Theta - Washington Chapter
"Unto us has befallen a mighty friendship"

Founded in 1916, meet a brotherhood with over 100 years of history. We're focused on building lifelong friendship, moral leadership, intellectual engagement, responsible social conduct, and service to society. A house rich with tradition, we're looking to nurture the next generation of leaders, innovators, and creatives.
The History
Originall founded in 1902 as Phi Kappa, the Theta Theta Chapter has a rich history ever since being chartered in 1916. Our fraternity has a legacy of leadership, service, and academic excellence. Our members have been at the forefront of positive change, and we continue to uphold our proud traditions.
The Coat of Arms

The colors of the University of Washington, with the owl of Athena, symbolize our chapter perfectly. The temple with four columns allude to our bond with the University- the same pillars can be found in the Sylvian Grove on campus. They represent Loyalty, Industry, Faith, and Efficiency (LIFE).
Life at the House
Between the big moments and formal events, life at Psi Upsilon is the everyday things that turn friends into brothers. From impromptu kitchen debates at midnight to cheering each other on through midterms and life's milestones, our house is a space where people show up for one another—loudly, consistently, and without hesitation. Although every day brings something new, the energy remains consistent: welcoming, supportive, a little chaotic, but always real. It’s not just a place to live. It’s where we grow, learn, laugh, and become the people we want to be—together.
The Alumni
Our alumni go on to do great things. 3 Heads of State, Heisman-winning athletes, Oscar-winning directors, and legendary businessmen. Brothers benefit from a thriving alumni network that propels careers.
